The Little Dog House
The Little Dog House is a dedicated branch of The Dog House in Ashburton but just for our small dogs. With a large outdoor area separate from the big dogs, the small dogs can run around to their hearts content.
So no matter the weather, there is all-day fun with doggy friends waiting for your little dog every day of the week at The Little Dog House.
We Know Little Dogs
At The Little Dog House, we know all about what small dogs love so we have created a space that is packed with activities along with plenty of spaces for the much-needed naps throughout the day.
We have toys, slides, a sandpit, a summer paddling pool and dedicated nap spots with beds and soft blankets for a quiet rest in between a busy day.
The Dog Park
Every day is filled with play around the large paddock. The outside has all our fun climbing frames and tunnels so there is plenty for everyone to explore.
The Little Dog House Shop
At The Little Dog House office we have bags of treats available to purchase.
Talk to staff about what we have available. We try and price our treats low for our clients so that every dog can have treats!

Doggy Daycare Weekdays, Weekends & Holidays
We are able to offer Doggy Daycare on weekends and holidays by prior arrangement and special request, however, we are not open for normal Doggy Daycare on these days.

7.30am - 6pm
Accidents & Injuries
Having a group of dogs together playing all day can result in small injuries occurring. Nipped ears, ripped toenails, conjunctivitis, strains, fleas and kennel cough are all common things we see here.
We do our best to prevent as much as we can but accidents can, and will happen. You can help us by ensuring that all your dog’s vaccinations - especially kennel cough vaccinations - flea and deworming treatments are up to date.
All of our staff are experienced, knowledgeable, calm under pressure and don’t panic when things go wrong. In the event of an injury or accident, our team will handle your pet with efficient expertise on-site and if necessary make contact with your vet if required.
